Golf Day A Success

With a few beers, some great prizes, fantastic food and over £500 raised for charity, to suggest the golf day went well may be an under statement!!!

The scoring was strong with the first three prizes all within a point of each other, while the rest of us enjoyed an even rarer glimpse of the sun.

Please keep in touch with your normal contacts in the group. The success of the day means we are certain to run this event again.

FMG & LMS Golf Day - 12th September 2008

With just over two weeks to the 12th , final planning is complete for the day.

We hope you can arrive at noon for lunch and coffee with play commencing at 1pm.

The tee is booked until 2.30 so if you have a preference as to when you can arrive

and want to play please let me know as soon as possible.

The format of the day is based on a stableford competition from full handicap.

Full details of the competition, who you are playing with and the "teams" will be

handed out on the day with only two rules, firstly it is to be enjoyed and second if in doubt refer to rule one.

If we can have your handicap details as soon as possible it will help balance the teams.

On completion of the round,as well as during it, there will be an opportunity for

the odd lemonade, followed by dinner and the presentation of prizes.

The formal part of the day should complete by 8.30pm.
